Partiy hits Class 3A

Talking with coaches and media throughout North Dakota has brought me to one conclusion about the North Dakota Class 3A playoffs: This one is up in the air.

There appear to be no runaway favorites this season.

The past several years, Fargo South and Bismarck have cornered the market on state title game appearances.

Now, it looks like a number of teams have the ability to win it all.

South and Bismarck are still in the mix. West Fargo is hungry and ranked No. 1. Bimarck Century is a scrappy team with a lot of talent. And teams like Fargo North and Dickinson could make some waves in the postseason.

It should be a fun playoff. I’m expecting a lot of close games.

Who is your favorite to win it all in Class 3A? Why?
